however this filter only gives you, roughly 2x turnover in a 300l tank, not really enough, don't get me wrong, it will do a descent job. it just needs another the same to go with it, ideally.
the FX5, is about the only choice here, even the pro 3 is down on it flow rate. whilst even slanted reviews admit the Eheim pro3 is a better filter than the FX5, it is nowhere near worth spending , almost, twice as much to buy it. it simply is not THAT much better.
