What eggs are these

Can anyone tell me what fish eggs are these please.

Do you use root tabs for fertilizing your plants?

Many times, root tabs contain Osmocote fertilizer pellets, that's what I'm betting these are...

The gelatine capsules melt away, the pellets are released from the substrate

They aren't fish eggs, I'm fairly certain

maybe bristlenose catfish or slow release fertiliser

Has to be root tab type fertiliser imho, agree with slaphappy.

Some specialised substrate soils come with those types of root ball fertiliser already mixed into the substrate,

They are not fish eggs, all fish eggs are translucent.

Indeed, orange to yellow is what I have seen of BN and pleco eggs, not myself personally but from other member's pictures in the past. Fascinating stuff really.

Yellow AND translucent.

It's a a male guarding them. They sometimes mouth the eggs to clean fungus, bacteria and other things off the egg.
