Hi,

I was looking for some severum(s), especially the red spotted ones, and one of the store I visited seem to had a good deal on it. However, it is still small (maybe 2" or a so) and it's more of a platinum color (white with a hint of blue ish) than yellow with red spots. Is that normal? The owner claim it's a Fire red severum (which is also red spotted, according to him) and he has had it for 3 months but the spots hasn't come in yet.

Thanks

Thank you! I'm just worried that the fish in question might not come out to be severums. It'd still be fine if the color stays the way it is, but the importance is that it is a severum.

Look at some of these - none say just "Red Spotted Severum" but add another color to the red.

I picked out pictures of all the "small" sizes but their website also has the large size of the same fish so you can do some comparison of how the colors change. Their overnight shipping is about $48 with $9 for a cooler and $1 for a cold pack. So you might as well order multiple fish. Mine weren't arriving anywhere near overnight from the date shipped so I started going with the $18 2-3 day shipping (because that's how long it took them to ship with so-called "overnight shipping". I always buy the cooler and a cold pack in the summer. It's well worth the money. They double bag all fish and label each bag. I'm fighting them on one mistake they made on an order but they have rotten customer service but the most healthy fish I've found as well as the greatest variety - and they know it. Have not had one die in shipping, had a couple die after an accident in my tank (my fault).

Thanks for the link! I've checked those out before. The shipping is kinda too much for me. I can just drive 40mins to the next town and try to get them there. I'm just hoping to get my question answered.

Thanks, though!
