What Do You Think? My Planned Layout

Here is what I plan to have my layout as for my 29 gallon (30"x18"x12") tank:

Explanations: The tree stump is fake it has plastic plants attached to its sides and has lots of big holes in it the rock in the middle right hand corner is a lava rock and has a perfect hole in the top to put a plant in. the tank is 18 inches tall. The tank will have Sand Substrate.

The fish I am getting:

• 2 Bolivian Rams (Mikrogeophagus Altispinosa) (Breeding Pair)
• 4 Khuli Loaches (Pangio Kuhli or Pangio Myersi (Depending on what is available))
• 6 Three-Lined Corys (Corydoras Trilineatus)
• 3 Cherry Barbs (Barbus Titteya)
• 1 Dwarf Gourami (Colisa Lalia)

What do you think? Any suggestion? Please Reply, I can't wait to set it up!

think its a little off scale tho, you mite be pushed to build some of the stuff in the space youve allowed. if your gonna make them look natrual neway.

well looking at the pic your caves must be about 6" long 2" deep.

when you come to build them i think theyll be bigger than that.

oh, I get what your talking about. Yeah, the caves are about 8"-12" long

ditto, real plants, not fake!! is making me think about my 4' that will be getting together the bits n bobs over the next 6 months.

i wouldnt bother with elodea, it grows little shoots all up the plant, and it is really annoying stuff, even when you snap every shoot off they grow new shoots in 2-3 days.
i was going to have elodea in my 39gal, but they are so ugly when they grow the shoots, so ive gone with vallis and hornwort hornwort is just the same really, just a little different and doesnt grow shoots all up the side of the plant
