He is a gardnery (dont know the first bit find that out in a bit!) The female is the same shape and size but a lighter colour with little red markings, the female likes to flirt about alot, havent seen the male since tampered and put all the plants in this morning, hope he is ok!

Well he didnt come out for feeding and we both couldnt see him. Hoping just extremely well hidden, if not perhaps a weak male as the female is thriviing.

I know I know! Some fish just dont work for us or end up with my sister as she pesters

10 neon tetras
2 lamp eyes (probably to be moved as the last left after those dratted gobies got at them)
3 pearl gouramis
2 gardneri killifish
10 gold peru stripe
6 caudimaculatus
5 glass catfsih

Going by aquadvisor, seem at maximum now, no more! They all seem pretty happy with the layout, except when I have to replant certain new plants because Becky the Plec has uprooted them

Dont tempt me Nelly, I was thinking about that the other day! Dont think my filters could handle two as maximum stocking. She is definately the eye candy though Have to turn down the eel as stocked and lots of mini fish he would want to eat! Aw remember need to work and play x

Oh man, just double triple checked think may have lost the male, cant see him anyway and the female seems pretty unattended. May have to get her another mate..

Welll here is one for the books, after deciding there definately was no male in the tank after hours of searching the female being unattended and stressed. Went on Saturday to get their last male as wouldnt be ordering anymore. This one was less colourful but much more attentive to the female and doing a much better job. All seemed well in the community tank.

So looking in this morning they seem to have made home of a shell at the bottom of the tank which is nice, they were snuggled in there, moving round so I could make sure everyone was ok and what should I see? Only the blooming elusive male! Well they have behaved and lived at opposite ends of the tank it seems but being only 160 litres not that big to keep them from killing each other. You have never seen lightening reactions as fast as these! Whipped the unattentive male out into a tank with panda cories and he is better in there. Saw no aggressive behaviour and no terratorial issues. Think I was extremely lucky. So now two male killies!
