Mine seem to have been pregnet forever also! ive got three big fat Mommas now too. Its weird, they all have gotten pregnet at the same time.

For the first question, not sure how long exactly it takes for Females to give birth. It does seem to take a long time though. Try yur luck in the livebearer section, im sure someone knows!

Like i said, my guppy fry dont get eaten! the only reason i put the ones i want into a breeding trap is so make sure they get enough food. So u could maybe try yur luck with leaving the babies in the tank. Make sure theres lots of hidng places too though.

I dont put my females into the breeding traps. I wait till i see babies swimming around then i scoop them up and put the babies into the breeding trap.

What size tank you have? With 6 pregnet females yur gonna have a quite a bit of babies! Hopefully u have somwhere else to put them all!

At one of my LFS they sell feeder guppies for 15cents a piece. Im thinkin i might see if they will take guppy fry and just dump them in with all their feeders...

Why not look for a local aquarium society. One of their members might be happy to have feeder fish that were raised in a home aquarium and are known to be healthy and disease free. And you would know that they would be treated humanely and not dumped in a crowded tank and left to starve while in the store.

If you are not near them, you could contact them and ask how you could get in touch with one closer to your home. Fish folks are friendly and would probably be happy to help you out.

you could always make a nice pizza and have fry topping on it. pretty close to anchovies. im joking by the way
