What Colour Would The Fry Be.

if i breed my male black swordtail with my female orange mickey mouse platy.

Some would be black some would be orange, some would be a mix of black and orange and some would have a new color of a combined black and orange it all depends.

Thanks if put them in together how long should i leave them for.

I have no clue on how to breed them. So wait and let someone else tell you and I hope you know the basic things you need to breed and your not one of those people that saw some cool looking fish and wanted them to breed not knowing how many babys or eggs their will be or what to feed them when they hatch.

yes i know most thing about breeding when i got my first pair of female mollies they were both pregnant and had fry fed them on the correct food liquifry etc. i let them give birth in the main tank and only had about 8 of the fry survive.
