What Chemicals Do I Really Need In My Tank?

Sorry, I just don't see the need to, because the fish are all healthy. It's a regent filter, the same as in my profile, which is the tank I'm talking about.

Yeah, I'm only messing about. Different things work for different people, I just don't think I'm the kind of person who would be happy in not testing the water and not changing some. It's not a massive hassle for me.

I would only say that by regular tests of the water, you can possibly catch a problem BEFORE it effects the fish. Its like saying "i dont have cancer unless I can see it or feel the effects of it". The only way to know is to check, and regular checking is a healthy attitude. At the same time, it could sway, and a keen eye should probably also be able to spot issues with water parameters within a few days of them by the slight changes in the fish behaviours. Id just personally say that method would be more time consuming. a 5 minute test once a week instead of a fair bit of behaviours monitoring every day, I know what my personal preference is.
