What Can Be Acheived In 1.6g

WOW! That's impressive. What an artful scape. Very beautiful.

Lovely hardscape, not very green though. Some stunning photos on the rest of the site.

That is incredible. I may well attempt something for that for when my PFK nano arrives :D

Nice link George.

 All this nano inspiration is all getting too much, I've got 2 x 2 Gal nanos and a 20cm cube tank, I've even got filters, substrate and heaters for two of them. (I've also got my PFK 30cm cube when they get sent out).So WHY are they all sitting empty ?

I feel an aquascaping 'nano fest' coming on :D !

Indeed Al.

Practical Fishkeeping magazine are soon to be running an aquascaping contest actually. I wonder how many nanos will be entered? Should be a great boost to the aquascaping side of the hobby, and not just planted either.

I think I'll get started on them this weekend.

Not sure what anybody is using for heating in their nano's, but I'm giving these Hydor Mini Heaters a try......

7.5w - permanently ON heater, not thermostatically controlled.
The heating element is only designed to raise the water temperature a few degrees above ambient room temperature. Suitable for tanks upto 20Ltrs. Slimline, fits to side of tank and also safe under the substrate (less visible equipment) and for less
than £8 it wont break the bank !

I currently have one running in a non aquascaped nano (holding tank for bee shrimp) and it seems to be working really well, it keeps the temp between 22 - 24 degs.

Can be found on this page .... Hydor Mini Heater

I'll also be using the Aqua Vital Hang On Back filters, they seem to do the job quite well.
