In fact I soaked today in a hot salted bath reading for a couple of hours . After a reading bath I still have to take a shower to get rid of the crud that has left my body while soaking.

Interesting . I’ve heard of this and I wonder what you think of the effects .

Dang! I thought that a bath with bath salts would be more known. My go to is Dr Tiel's and I mostly use the liquid form. Think bath with salt combined with bubbles and aroma therapy. VERY relaxing and will offer some help with aches and pains.

Salt actually has medicinal uses. Of course you are not going to dump a bunch of salt on an open wound but a strong saline solution (just salt water) is awesome for cleaning a low grade infection. The salt will displace the puss effectively cleaning the wound. For really serious infections though you need maggots. Yes, MANY hospitals still use maggots to clean sever infections as they will only eat the dead flesh.

My mother of blessed memory use to take epsom salt baths. You can purchase bath salts from the Dead Sea. Holy Water bath.

It depends on the bathtub in reality, mine looks like a camping cooler and adding salt will probably rust holes trough it in a month and if I lie down in there, I will probably need help getting out.

I hate maggot baths. So squishy, and you just never feel clean after. Maggot showers are better.

upgraded my ubuntu 20.04 computer to 24.04 and it was 'fun' only took 4 hours. These upgrades never work. The snap stuff is crap and doesn't work and all sort of other gripes but i did get it updated. Only thing i haven't tested is if nfs still works.
