@Fishmanic I remember those old brick phones! I can't believe people actually carried those around. There was some tv show, I think it was Magnum P.I., that helped make them popular.

@fishorama, did you ever listen in to other people's conversations on your party line? Tell the truth now.

There were very few of those left when I started at Ma bell....it was a pain fixing those lines (called C-wire, with the old glass insulators) because as soon as the repair was made somehow everyone in the whole neighborhood knew it and would pick up while I was trying to verify the fix with the central office.
You guys crack me up with the percolators. We had drip machines by the time I came of coffee drinking age, but I still use one whenever I go camping. Set it on the fire and 10 minutes later you've got coffee-an eternity when ya just gotta have it. Nowadays I use the little fuel bottles with a burner so it only takes around 5 minutes.

Looks good to me though. Unfortunately onions don't agree with me anymore which cranks me off to no end. Sucks getting old.
