What are the Cichlids iv seen in my lfs

Hi

I have seen some very loverly Cichlids in my lfs but it does not say what there name is and all the ppl always seem to be run off there feets when ever i go in and i end up forgetting to ask what they are

They are in 4, 5 colours but only one colour per fish the colours are mainly blue orange purple green and black does any one know what they may be.

How bout this...give a little more info such as:

body shape
size

I would venture a guess at either Mbuna or Aulonocara, but this is only a guess.

Try looking at some pic on other sites and see if you can find anything similar to what you see in your LFS.

Well they are not very big about 4" in total lengh a bit plump and got big kissy looking lips very pretty to look at .

They are either...

Blood Parrots a cross between a gold severum and a red devil or

Jelly beans which some say are a cross between a convict and a blood parrot.

Either way...PLEASE stay away from these. They are manmade and not worth your time.

Please keep in mind this is JMO and I never harbor any ill will towards anyone who keeps them.

I am just a purist and think there are enough natural species without some greedy person developing some new monstrosity

You were right i went to the lsf last nite and found out they were parrott Cichlids thanks for the help and tips on these fish
