Thanks for the suggestions.
Would the neon feel lonely if I added 5 or 6 more Cardinals instead of Neons? The reason for this is that I've read that Cardinals are much more hardier than neons, as neons are easily exposed to neon disease.
Are Zebra Danios more or less peaceful than White Clouds? I've heard that Zebras are hyperactive 24/7!
Also, with Corys, are there any good websites with more information on Corys? There are lots of sub-species of Corys but I only seem to see one type of Cory at the LFS.
Actually, my aquarium magazine just did a profile on neons and cardinals and they state that neons are hardier. The reason stated was they said almost all cardinals in the hobby are wild-caught while neons are farm-raised. Fish caught in the wild tend to have a harder time adjusting to parameters such a pH levels that are different from their natural habitat.
On another note, I have 6 lemons and 6 rummy noses and they will shoal around together and they don't even remotely look alike. Lemons are flat and tall, rummy noses are long and slender. They do break up into their separate groups but they will swim around together alot too.
