Hi all,
Im getting a four foot tank with a wet/dry trickle filter. Im upgrading my 2 footer, stocking in sig below. Tank is 90G (US) or 340L.
I have a fully cycled Fluval 104. And dont want to risk my fishies health, so, my question is. Would it be best to run the canister till the sump (is it a sump??) cycles also. Or just put the fluval media into the sump alongside the other sump to "clone" the filter? (if i know what cloning is ofcourse lol).

Regards,
Indir

I think put the media from the fluval into the wet/dry. Because if you run them both at the same time, your bacteria will be spread across both so when you take the fluval out, you will have another period of instability. Swap the media, and you only have to watch it for a while then you can relax :)
