I was happy enough when the parrots laid their first infertile (as always) batch of eggs. But (yes this is NW cichlid appropriate just bear with me lol) it seems Goldie (the gold angel) and our silver youngster have taken lessons from that (being in the same tank), and decided finally that they are indeed a pair, and have just laid a nice big batch of eggs on the filter intake pipe!
We've had angels for about 7-8 months now, and this is our first batch. Obviously we're not interested in hatching them, they'll either get left there for the other fish to nibble on or sucked up at gravel vac time.
But I'm just chuffed and wanted to share it with you guys....first the parrots, now my angels - all in one week
Just got to tell the other two pairs to get their arses in gear now lol. Like I said, I have no intentions of breeding angels for babies - just like to know they're happy
