Well That Was Dissapointing

Being mothers day I decided to leave the kids with hubby and treat myself for a trip to the lfs. I started at Maidenhead at shirley, what an utter dissapointment!!! dead fish, fish with infected bite marks (far too many cichilds crammed together) ick!! what an utter shambles of a shop! Next stop was shirley, mu favorite shop but there was next to nothing in!! couple of gold servs basic community fish guppies, platies etc, but nothing of real interest. So I have come home a tad dissapointed.

Really, the place looked excellent last weekend.
Fish were all very healthy, Apart from the Toraja Gobies they had Whitespot.
I do not think people travel a fair distance to go here if it was a shambles.

Have You been to Ripples waterlife, I went there last saturday and it was excellent.

Thanks for mentioning ripples, found one localish and just got back, very good, nice clean tanks healthy fish, will deffinately go again.

Guess you have a place called Shirley near you too (Birmingham) I thought at first where the hell are there fish shops in Shirley near Southampton (which is where I am) but then I looked you up.... doh!

Well, as you asked......obviously there is a number 15 but it is a 3 bed semi next to a newsagents and they don't sell fish

you could try ripples tamworth which is just off J10 of M42 or world of water which is in nether whittacre not far from J9 M42 , for the exact address search `yell.com` for world of water and the postcode is B79 , these LFS are excellent both clean and very fish friendly

You may come out without anything due to the lfs but i tend to just come out empty handed as i have no cash
