Since adding a new trio of bristlenoses to my colony, i decided to not long back to seperate 1 male and 2 females from the group, and put them in thier own tank and try to get them breeding, at long last i think it may happen, the male has had the female in the cave for a little over 30 minutes now but i dont want to disturb them, but hopefully they will spawn, cant wait :)

Fingers crossed

Good luck! Mine started breeding a few months after I got them and haven't stopped since! I was told they'd only breed if the water temperature was lowered but that wasn't true! I'd not wanted them to breed! I've now got an aquarium full of longfins!

good luck

I kept three and had fingers crossed but the male never went near the female in about 2 years

well just got home from work and they have spawned :hyper:

here is a quick pic, il try and get a better one later...
