Weird Things In My New Setup

hello i have just set up a fluval edge tank and just have gravel and plants (no fish yet) but i noticed that on the black gravel there are white mould looking things on the bottom and on one plant, what are these and how do i get rid before i put my fish in?

It sounds like a bacteria bloom, nothing to worry about. You might get a day or 2 of a milky couldy water as well. Again this is just the friendly bactiera. It will settle down, and disapear in a few days.
