Hello I don't know whats wrong with my molly fry one always die a month but I re-homed the others because I don't want a lot of fry and future fry. From 13 I have now 2 and the other one is showing signs that the others before her showed. My parameters are 0 Ammonia, 0 nitrite and 30-40 ppm nitrate ( my tap has 10-20 ppm). Weekly water changes 50% but I think it's due to the defect their mother's batch had.

As when I bought their mother her batch was full with this weird thickened scales that kinda look like patches of psoriasis sorry for the term that also extended to find, I kinda looks like they're wearing armor and they seemed to have balance issues as they were balloon mollies. But their mother was least affected one and I didn't know she was pregnant

Now due to their genetics plus my rather poor understanding of fish feeding so I only fed the babies once a day, the fry are small even at 3 months, but these remaining 2 are catching up, at their 9 month

But every now and then the dominant fry/tank boss dies and so does the replacement tank boss. They usually get this ragged/disheveled look and then a few days later dead. And most of the time it is the ones that look like their mother's batch.

They get these ragged/red areas on the body or torn fins and one day when you look at the tank they're gone.

This is the one affected by this and very much resembles her mom.

So you see she's much textured compared to her sister.
The sister:

Schools just over and I really want to rescape my tank due to my random and poor plant placement hehe, but I want to keep both them in my revamped aquarium but I guess only the smooth one will remain and the other one will be euthanized/die herself.

But I having qualms about euthanizing her because she behaves the same, well a bit, now she's becoming more skittish of the littlest things and other than the red areas she's just a fat fish. And as well as rehoming her sister because I want to have less bioload from my stocking and you know mollies are literal dump trucks, what should I do?? And probably next time I'd buy more wisely.

Sample vid of them. Your time and advice would be very appreciated.
