Just wanted to know if any of you guys would check out my new website? It is in the making, and will be updated frequently.

Thanks! :)

Good start, it will be interesting to see how it progresses. :good:

It looks quite good but I'd change the Betta profile to be honest. I know you are speaking from your own experiences but Gouramies and Bettas should never be kept in the same tank. Tetras can also be a no-no as they are prone to fin nipping. I'd hate for people to think that because it worked for you, then it will work for them too.
Other than that, good job!

the clown pleco profile is kinda hard to read... maby change the color to a more darker color?

i like your forum well thought out.
you should check out mine, its in my sig

It really is just supposed to be a fish website, not mainly a forum. I didnt even intend on making the forum. My intentions were to get newbies good information on starting fish keeping, and to make sure there re no uncompatible fish tanks, and there is no stunting and stuff like that.

Ouch, that's not fair they removed the link to other forums. :( Is it so we don't leave or something??

Links to non-competing forums are fine, general aquatics forums are not. Please read the sixth paragraph of the rules; http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?act=boardrules

The problem is, if we let the small 10-person forum slide, why can't the 50-person forum be allowed as well? If 50 are ok, another forum with 250 members really isn't much more.

It has a snowball effect that the administration, meaning William, wants stopped from the beginning, as there is no fair cut off point, so to speak, and no way of determining if in the future the 10, 50, or 250 member forum will have expanded to 5,000+ members in a couple of years. If you will notice, my member number is 2323, that is how many members the forum had when I joined in '03. In less than four years it is over ten times that, which is possible with any forum.

The rules here are not just thrown out without thought and enforced randomly. Much work goes on behind the scenes when there is anything changed here, and all moderators are involved when anything is changed, as well as if there is any perceived discrepancy in enforcement.
