We Love Peas!

Just thought i'd share a video of the gang eating some peas! They love them. I usually feed them by hand but the fighter takes it from my hand with such force I get a fright and drop it in! He is really strong!
Here they are still eating them from the sand. They are so cute The female at the very front (comes over about 10 seconds in silver with more red on tail) is the one I think is definitely pregnant! She is getting bigger and has a big gravid spot now.

A rainbow? Is it one of the platys? I will have another look at the video and find the one you mean!

It's like, blue and purple by the head, and it blends out into a rainbow with he other colors, I believe its a platy

Oh that's my female platy! She is actually silver with a blue sheen, red tail and black fins. I have put a post up in this section about an update on my pregnant female - have a look I think it's her you mean! I loved the colour too I got them from pets at home. 2 females they are identical!

Thanks. Sometime I take them out the can and slightly boil them-not too much. Just to soften them a bit more. Sometimes if they are already shelled I just squish them in my hand and give them like that. They eat them both ways lol

Of course...tinned peas, I should have known, used to have a Plec and it loved them.

Gonna have a look for some high finned Platy's this weekend, your video has got me hooked ! They look really striking.

Thankyou this will be the first time I have ever had fry so i'm not going to intervene.
I found those long finned ones in dobbies garden world.

She is just a regular short finned platy. She was in the temperate tank under "assorted platy" they were in pets at home.
The 2 orange/yellow females and the big silver male are hi fins I got them from dobbies.
