I follow two methods.
Either a combination of freezing cold water with ice cubes, and lots of clove oil. It actually works almost instantly. OR occasionally I will hit the fish in the head. I hate doing it though even though it probably is the most humane way to do it, it feels the most inhumane. Because I have no access to clove oil at work, I normally have to bash them.
