Does anyone know of a good way of making your lights not so bright. I'm planning on getting a uaru fish in the coming weeks or so.

I've been looking at floating plants. But dont really want to keep the lights on in my juwel vision 450 tank on the hours and hours when I'm in work.

Any suggestions/advice?

Why not put your lights on a timer? Also why buy plants if you don't wanna have your lights on all the time? Confused :p

Also, How bright are they? Whats your tank lighting?

i have heard of people using floating plants to control light,

or check ebay as should be able to mini sunglasses so fish can look cool and be protected from bight lights........sorry coulndnt resist!!

Yes, I'd second the suggestion to get a timer for your lights.

I have a juwel 54w blue light and 54w normal light.

Don't think you can have a dimmer on the juwel lights :/

Lol techen.
