Im having alot of trouble keeping the water clean in my tank, i have to do a half n half water change in my tank every 2-3 weeks. I know that is alot but i dont know what else 2 do

Hi, what's your set up? Tank size, filter, fish, plants, decor etc?

Yeah, like J said what tank size, etc....

50% water change is not that much.. I change about 50% of water in all my tanks every week, not every few weeks.....

Agree with Jamepsss's questions, plus;

How long has the tank been set up and what exactly is wrong with the water?

Is it particles or more of a haze? What colour is it; brown, green, white?

Do you have any recent test results for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate you can post?

The more information you can give the more likely we are to be able to help

There's nothing wrong with your water change regime, as long as you're using a dechlotinator; all my tanks get 50% weekly.
