Has anyone seen or use these. I wonder if it works as good as liquid test kits?

I've never used an electronic tester before, but that isn't to say that they aren't any good. I have always used liquid tests and they have been accurate enough for keeping fish.

True but if it worked as good as the liquid in the long run it would save you money plus you wouldnt have to worry about it expiring. Taking a closer look though looks like it just test ph and temp

I have used electronic pH testing in a lab setting and know that pH is especially fun to deal with. It requires calibration with known pH "standards" and the probes need to be replaced fairly often. I am sure that a pet shop might make good use of one, or even a large scale breeder, but for a hobbyist it will be an expensive toy. On the other hand, a simple TDS meter can be had quite reasonably and should not experience the difficulties holding a calibration that a pH meter does.
