Water Test

Finally... after a horrible one month of having a tank with no fish i have my API water master test kit. It was a horrible wait but its for the best. Here are the results from my first test. Please feed back for me.

Ph: 7.6

high ph: 7.8

Ammonia: 0 ppm

nitite no2-: 0 ppm

nitrate: no3-: 10 ppm

Actually after just checking my nitrate tube again it looks more like 40, i don't think i left it long enough.

If the above is ok, still waiting on feed back please, can i ask a few questions.

1.) My filter has a bubble setting, would you have this on or off?
2.) What fish would you recommend for a beginner?
3.) Are the tropical crabs and shrimp hard to keep with fish?

I have a 48 ltr tank thanks

ROFL my mum just asked me how the tank was, i said i think the PH might be a bit high she said what do you do then p*ss in it rofl
