Water Test Result !

well got my water test kit in the post to day

water test done by me using API freshwater master test kit result are :

ph 8.0

ammonia (nh3/nh4+) 0.25ppm

nitrite (no2~) 0ppm

nitrate (no3~) 40ppm

Looks pretty good. I suggest testing your tap water. My tap water containes chloramine which gives me an ammonia reading of about .25 after a water change. With that level of nitrates I wouldn't expect you to have any ammonia.

For some reason just recently my 240L tank has a 0.25 reading on ammonia (even after big water changes to try lower it) & 40 nitrate too.
I've not tested the tap water for ammonia but my guess it reads 0 as my 90L has 0 reading on ammonia!
