what fish do you keep? it depends on the fish

a peppered corydora will prefer 22oC whereas a german blue ram will prefer 28-32 degrees

Yeah i keep my tetra at 26 c and they are very happy

Id advise you to research each type of fish before you buy. This way you can try keep fish that require a similar temperature

At 82F, the cories probably will not like it at all, at 82F you will lose some. The swords would like it better at 72 to 78F but might survive the high temperature. The angels, neons and rasboras do OK in my tank at 77F but I am not sure what they prefer.

I'm keeping neon tetras, guppies and three black mollies. I'm holding at about 75F. Is that right?

That is right if they are all looking healthy and have been at those temperatures for a while Dicnic.
