Hey guys after 2.5 weeks I think I've finally cycled my tank here are the stats. Had a bit of leftover filter bacteria from my old filter which I replaced as well so I guess that aided the process
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0-5ppm (Did a 25% water change yesterday)
pH: 7.6
Should I be worried about the pH in the tank? I use my tap water and I tested that and it is the same as in the tank. I will be keeping fish like gouramis, bolivian rams and some barbs if that matters. The tank is 24G/90L with a big driftwood centerpiece and live plants (Anubis, swords, frill). Am I good to add a few fish as well right now? (Thinking of 3 honey gouramis for now)
I am also looking to get some plant ferts one of those tabs that go in the gravel which I hear reduces the pH and helps plants as well.
Any advice or suggestions appreciated.
