We made dividers for my bettas tank. and to help with cutting we grabbed the nearest pe which happened to be a waterproof one :\

so now it wont come off, and im worried it will leech into the water...even though its water proof....

What exactly are you asking. And you grabbed the closest what?

I understood - you grabbed the closest pen to outline the size you wanted to cut....and you are worried about ink dissolving into the tank over time and poisoning the fish....

I don't THINK it will do that....because if it did dissolve....it would be over such a slow process that your maintenance water changes would take care of any levels of toxicity...

at least IMO it will....

if it was me in your shoes I would try it....maybe just take note of your fish's behavior....they will clue you in on a problem very fast.

Some sort of organic cleaner should get it off. Nail polish remover would probably work. Rubbing alcohol may work. Most of the "multi-surface" cleaners should work. There are lots of things that will remove the ink.
