Water Changes Whilst Cycling Tank

hi all i have a new tank set up since friday ow i know you have to wait 3-4 weeks for a tank to cycle, but should you still do water changes on that time?

Depends on whether you're doing a fishless or fish-in cycle really. Have you read the info about cycling in the beginners resource centre? That answers a lot of questions about cycling.

Depends what you mean by "set up" and "cycle".

What tank did you get and what filter? Did you put some filter media in the filter from another tank? Have you put fish in it?

Do you understand fully about cycling, and what the difference is between fish-in cycling and fishless cycling? If you're performing a fishless cycle then you've no need to change the water except to refresh the hardness. If you're in a fish-in cycle then you will need to test the water with a liquid test kit and perform large daily water changes (how large depends upon your test results) for the next 2 months.
