Water Change ?

well i just tested and here are my new results:
ph= 6.8
alkalinity= 40
hardness= just above 25
nitrite= just above 1 so is going down
nitrate= 20

So i should do another water change tomorrow of 50%?
And like you said not to get any new fish but when the time comes should i buy another catfish so that he has a mate?

If your nitrite is 1 then yes you should do another water change. You want to aim for below 0.25, so any time it is above 0.25 you should do a water change.
You should also get a liquid test for ammonia as soon as possible.
What fish do you have at present?
