Water Change.

I have a 29 gal tank, i do weekly water change. I have 8 platies and 5 sail fin mollies and 2 gouramis. Is it safe to do weekly water change? After doing a water change i add salt to the water i do 50% weekly change. Is it enough or alot? 10x

Perfectly safe...I do two 20-40% water changes per week in my tropical tank, and some people (usually those who keep fish who need pristine water, or raise fry) do water changes more often than that!

all good except i wouldnt add salt unless its a molly species tank.

I dont believe in too much water change, as long as the parameters are close or the same with some exceptions, do as many as you like.

sounds good. as long as teh darlings are healthy and happy you will have no problems.
