Just done a 90% water change after my fishless cycle was complete and got the following readings:

PH 7.8
Ammonia 1.0
Nitrite 0.25
Nitrate 20

Why are these showing up?

Why are these showing up?

try testing your tap water straight from the tap.........if that shows nothing for ammonia/nitrite then your tank was not cycled
