Wanting To Try A New Fish

Why not seasonal Killifish? They are beautiful, small and are use to small bodies of water, plus you can then experience the fun of drying out the eggs and later hatching them again.

A trio or so of some of the smaller types of Killifish should be fine, the seasonal or Annual killifish often live in extremely small bodies of water, one type even specialises in living in muddy elephant footprints :hyper: . There are also many types of nonannual killifish available and these are just a stunning as the annuals. Just found a reference to a person keeping a breeding pair of nonannuals in a 2 1/2 gallon tank and to condition the female he even divides this small tank into two smaller areas. If I could easily get even half of the killifish that are readily availble overseas I would have them in a shot.
