Wanted:young Polypterus (bichir) - Any Type Considered

Hi,

I'm after any young polypterus - senegal, ornate, delhezi etc at sensible prices.

I can collect anywhere along the Manchester Metrolink route or Bolton.

Would consider swaps for the tanks I am selling (see other posts).

BAS is going to be your best bet, £15 for lapradei at 6", pier has a nice range if a little expensive.

yep, the OP is after Bichirs not snakeheads,
Although channas are definitely worth considering,

hehe thank's for the free plug, yes they are great fish to keep but depend's wether or not your def after birchir's?
I have a 9+inch senegal birchir but don't think i would post him as need oxygen for the bag unless i can source so oxygen

Thanks for the replies.

I definitely want bichir at the moment - want senegals to have a go at breeding them and any others because they are beautiful.

May try snakeheads sometime but no suitable tank right now.
