i'm not looking to be spending that much on fish TBH i've ordered a pair in through my lfs and are ready for collection this coming friday for £6.99 each so thanks for the offer and so sorry to hear you've been let down...

i'm sure if you put them on AC or here and other forums they would be snapped up pretty quickly there such a beautifull fish

I asked at Wharf yesterday and they said they had some in but were sold last week. I never asked how much though, i was happy with the three normal ones i got....

Are they seriously that expensive now. The average going rate is upward of £50!

Seriously, please someone tell me. I'm dumbfounded...I bought mine at the right time i think, a <1" juvi cost me £25 in October 2008. To think they are worth that much now is making me definately get my breeding program back on track.

Hackmaster if you've bought EBJD's for £6.99 don't hold your expectations very high. If they are normal Jacks you'll be fine, for that much i hope they are regulars. EBJD are very hit and miss, they are either good looking, or not. Look at mine and snowflakes for example. If you end up paying £6.99 for one like Snowflakes you wouldnt be too gutted, but if you payed £50+ for one like hers i know i'd be crying all the way home. On the flip side, if you pay £6.99 and get one like mine count your blessings, and even upward of £50 for one like mine i could justify personally

Get some photo's up, or a journal to record growth in the New World Cichlids section. I'm very interested to see!

EBJDs have gone up HUGELY in the last 2 years alone, since people discovered that they werent so easy to breed LOL.

The pair i have... well the obvious male anyway, looks like the one in your avatar Verminator, the other, female i think, is slower growing and of the same quality but not so bright...

If you can get your EBJD babies, you'll be laughing mate!! Shops and privately!!

Well just been in to my lfs to see why I hadn't had a phone call on my jd's that were supposed to be in on Wednesday and low an behold they forgot to tell me they can't get them in...!!!

I'm gutted I was looking forward to them, now my only hope is to try and order them in somewhere god knows where

I'll just have to keep my eye on the classifides and hope for the best...

At least I've still got my new Oscar to pick up off verminator tomorrow
