Was in The Range today looking at gardening stuff when I stumbled accross a set of 'rubbish grabbers' which will make absalutely great aquarium tongs!
They are over 2 foot long so ideal for the deeper tank and made of plastic.

So here's the best part.....£7.99 to which I was considering buying (£21 for the real thing in lfs) then I saw they were a fiver OFF! so £2.99 for a set like that! Fabulous bargain! :hyper:

Yay, they sound fab. Always a price hike for the word 'aquarium' eh? It's nearly as bad as weddings! :lol:

I use all-in-one fork and spoon type plastic salad tongs. Only just long enough to reach tank bottom if I hold them at the surface though. These sound great -are they available in UK? I live in London
