Want To Make Your Fish Tank Hetic?

Ok as for those who say "i thinking of giving up" wait! I have discovered a way of making your fish tank the best thing to watch. Its simple and Swallow aquatics sell them for 70p a batch. River shrimp my friends are amazing your fish are first confused as what they are, then they just lay into them watching my birchir going frantic chasing after them was the funniest thing. Almost got his head stuck under some bogwood but luckily did some sort of spin that got himself out. Any one else fed their fish river shrimp or something like them?

Two of my lfs sell them. I wanted them to keep and not as food, but they are kept in brackish conditions at both lfs.

Anyone know if they can be easily acclimatised to fresh water? At 50p for 10, they'd be a bargain!

in my local fish shop they sell 100 shrimp for £1.50 Bargain. I also wanted to keep them but I never knew they were brackish water shrimp. Everyday I was faced with the dilema of picking up 10 dead shrimp. My longest lasting shrimp lasted...4 days?

i think so. I paid 1.40 for 60 shrimp, which i don't think is too bad for a one off treat. I think if i buy them again i might buy a large batch and grow them myself as one of the females was full of eggs until she got eaten.

What swallow did you get them from? i went to the one in east harling and they had load. What fish did you feed them to?

I've been tempted to get these and i nearly did today when i was at Shirley Aquatics just outside Birmingham. I think i'll try it next time i'm passing there, certainly would be entertaining to see my Dempseys tucking into them

I went to the one in tenterden. I fed them to my south american cichlids along with various catfish and senegal birchir. But to be honest its my oscar that has got most of them he is absolutely relentless.
