Want To Get Guppies!

Hello! I am currently cycling my 20 gallon tank.
I have 5 Zebra Danios, 4 Mollies and getting 2 Red Tetras.

However, I am taking back the Danios. I decided I want to get Guppies after my tank cycles.

What fish are they good with? Are they schooling?

Any info awesome!

Guppies are peaceful community fish.
If you don't want the bother of fry, then go for all males.
They don't school as such, but do like to be with their own species

they arent schooling fish but to keep them you would need to not have the red eyes as they are notorious fin nippers and will shred your guppies fins, and if you wanted to get male and female guppies you would need a ratio of 1 male to every 2 females, and they should be in groups of 4 at the least :good:

i just got 3 females today, hopefully they arent pregnant.......yet. :lol:

i will be putting them in my 15 gal. with one male in it :mama:

she's been birthing all day on and off. i have 5 week olds 2 week olds and another new batch today. im going to have to advertise them in the classifieds as i'm fast becoming overun

i wouldnt recommend them with red eyes, as red eyes will most likely nip your beautiful guppies fins :good:

my baby guppies. they are getting the tail colour of yelow,black and red speckles although some have less colour than others and the red is less apparent. not sure on sex yet but the bigger ones are probably girls. i have smaller half black/white babies which i think are guppies although i have a male and female platy in the tank and i've never seen platy fry so we shall see. yellow girl is mum to the fry born yesterday. she is struggling abit and i think is still in labour.

all the new babies are hiding. most are seethrough but 2 of the ones born yesterdy are a lovely pink/peach colour.
