I know fish are not okay to buy at most wal marts (especially mine) but how about plants Any advice as to plants for a 10 gal I think Im going to take out my plastic plants and just plant the whole tank.

i had the same exact question as you when i wanted to start a planted tank. I bought many plants from walmart and I never had any problems. the biggest problem you'll have to face are those pesky snails

With new plants just remember to rinse them off good to make sure you dont get any snails. I made the mistake of being in a rush to put them in my 10g and didnt rinse them well enough and now I have a colony of snails that would probably take a few clown loaches to eat them all.

japonica shrimp also eat snails... when they're small.. so do it fast!
