What do people think of this tank?

I'm after buying a new little one, but don't want something that looks really cheap and tacky, yet am limited to budget... and no one locally seems to be selling

That seems alright mate. Have you got a World of Water locally to you. I wouldnt usually recommend them as i've had some dodgy fish from my local one over the years, but i was in there today for a little mooch around at what they have. They had some rather good deals on small tanks ranging from the tiny nano cubes to bigger 50-60-70L tanks with lights, hood, filter and heater ect. Worth a trip down to one matey if that link is the sort of thing your after.

Unfortunately no, i'm on an island and the garden centers (2 of them) or 1 other pet store is my only choice, all wanting a minimum of £60-£70 for a 25L tank...

Aahhh yes, i forgot your on an island. Maybe its your best bet then, because any mainland deals will have the price bumped up conciderably if you want posting, which would defeat the object if you have cheaper alternatives locally.
