Very Strange

hello everybody, i have just recently discovered that i have a male and female green terrors. ( how exciting ) i orginally thought they where both males as the female in the tank looks far brighter and is more dominate. but as it where they are a pair now they are about an inch and a half long and the female has layed eggs which is wired becouse i thought they had to be 4 inches and what is even wireder is that the male who is even small seemed to have done his part and they where moving around almost vibrating after about 4 days then they slowly started disapearing WHAT THE HELL?? i thought they where good parents i dont understand at all anyone with any information, views or opionions please By the way they currently have white spot which is being treated yet only seems to be getting worse im just dumb founded..

Convicts can start breeding that small. I don't know much about other SA cichlid breeding.

Cichlids are good parents, but they don't always get it right the first time - they'll probably have to spawn a few times before they stop eating their eggs, and after that they might keep eating their fry for a while. They'll get the hang of it eventually.
