Using Normal Silicone In Aquarium

i know its not recommended but its only for a glass bar at the top and not for under water its a clearseal tank i dont know if any of you know what bit im talking about

you still need aquarium silicone or another designed for aquarium assembly, as it is the loading as well as chemical properties that need to be concidered.

i think it would be fine, but if it were me i would get aquarium silicone just to be sure

glass bars at the top of the tank are for stiffening and tying, supporting covers is purely coincidental
