Fish Crazy
I picked up a used 30 gal tank at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago for $15. It came complete with a filter, heater, air pump, hood & lights. I cleaned it with a diluted bleach solution, rinsed it, let it dry & then rinsed again & let it dry & repeated one more time.
It did have a small leak near the top in the corner. I picked up a tube of aquarium safe sealant at Ace Hardware store for $3.99. Resealed it and let it dry for 48 hours. I refilled the tank & let the water sit for 4 days & it has not releaked.
It took about 2 1/2 weeks to cycle & I just added fish yesterday with no problems.
