5 gold barbs
1 stripped raphael catfish
5 sterbai cories
5 adolpho cories
5 marble hatchets
5 redline torpedo barbs


additons:
Leopard bushfish (i wanted african leaf fish if possible)
and either a zig-zag or tire track eel


think it can be done?

it will be a massive planted tank filtered by a hopefully FX5 if not then 2 of the top aquaclear 110s

im only truly concerned about the tire-track eel,i had one and he was like a really long puppy (shame i didnt know squat on how to care for tanks) and hes was kept with small tiger barbs that easily could have become food, im just wondering how long he gets and will he be able to snack on my smallest fish (either gold barbs right now at 2" or silver hatchets)

the spotted leaf fish i found wasnt a problem but imo the african one gets smaller and looks better, im really confuse on what is what

theres the african leaf fish
theres the south american leaf fish
theres the petsmart spotted african leaf fish aka spotted climbing perch (which i cant get as it gets too big and acts like a bigger leaf fish)
then theres the asian leaf fish


gah!!! can anyone find me max size for these fish!! all i have found is the south american at 4" and bush fish at 6" if the african is small enough ill get those.

ive decided that if i get the 150 w/ metal halides i found on craigslist then ill include the tire track (if i can)

but what do you guys think about the 100 gallon stocking (FYI the 150 is the same but with the addition of the eel):

leaf fish are predatory so you might want to watch what you put with it. Anything larger than its mouth really.

yeah they get 4" my smallest will be the barbs which are 3" and rather fat, plus theyll get bigger with more room and the leaf fish go last anyway lol

Ah well done, youw will have to find a supplement to feed the leaf fish as I hear they are sometimes hard to feed if not already weined onto flake.

i plan on setting up a 5 or 10 gallon as a ghost shrimp breeder to feed them ( though i expect the big catfish and the cichlid to nab a few lol)

You could do that, however I have found that breeding platys are much easier. There is also a really good market for ghost shrimp.

im confused as if there is a good market for ghost shrimp then wouldnt it be better to breed them? besides if there is a really good looking platy i might be motivated to keep it
