Upset Little Boy

My little boy is very upset as the white cloud mountain minnows we got him for his first birthday 12th June 2004 have started to die - lost 3 so far this week , he said he doesn't want anymore minnows - bless him
They have been kept in cold water and then in 22 degrees water and thrived in both
I've got him a bit happier as he is now looking after the gourami and cory fry (helping with the daily water changes) and i have said he can have 3 gouramis and some corys in his tank when they grow - lets hope they make it --- good job there's a never ending supply of eggs

Thats the thing when you buy a group of fish all together isn't it they all die around the same time - good job there are 3 of their babies amoung the group of ordinary WCMminnows - wish i had kept more now instead of selling them to LFS

Aww bless him, I know how hard it is when their little fishies die, my little boy gets upset too, I find too, that 'giving' him one of my fish usually helps

The kids got 2 baby bn plecs each the other day from seanie but that isnt helping - cos the minnows are in his and lacy's tank (the plecs in 2 of my tanks) it's not the same .
Mack is very proud to be in charge (well as much as a 5 yr old can be) of the fry tank and said when they grow he's going to keep some and sell the rest so he can buy some more khuli loaches cos he loves them lol
