could someone guide me through the upload procedure please

The easiest way to post a pic to save having to resize, is to open an account with photo bucket or imageshack,
Then paste the IMG code here

ok so do i open an account with photobucket

Use a site like photobucket, tinypics or one of the others. They are supported by advertising so they don't charge you to store pictures there. I use photobucket but the process is about the same on any of them. When you copy the IMG code that they give you, you can paste it here just like it was text. The result looks just like the picture is here. This is a harbor seal pup that I saw on the beach in Oregon with the picture pasted just that way. If you right click the picture, you can see the real picture's parameters and location.
