Plecos have sucky mouths and are just vacuum cleaners with fins. I wouldn't put a vacuum cleaner in my tank, not even a Dyson

Common plecos poop like cows and don't clean algae up except when they're very young.

There are some Ancistrus types I like a lot, but plecos are awful!

What is worse than a Pleco?

A Bristlenose population explosion like what I have....its a pain in the backside having so many of them flying around the aquarium and refusing to sit still and be caught

I am confused about duckweed. I see them selling it at the pet store, yet people complain about it. I have never used it. What are the issues with duckweed? Overgrowth?
