just had phone call from Wes (other half), his sister has given us her old tank for us to keep another betta in. Only thing is havent got a clue what tank it is! It has a built in filtration system that uses 'bio balls'. Any ideas?

the UK, ive found these bio balls on the net, but it would be useful if i know what tank it was lol! His sister hasn't got a clue what it is

O Ok lol yeah the UK has some different variations in tanks that I've never seen. Most american tanks seem to be by top fin, marineland, oceanic, or some similar company, and they are all completely bare. The larger reef tanks have overflow systems though but no bio balls, but I too know what bio balls are.

probably a fish r fun tank.
is the filter built into the hood?

yep just asked Wes, and googled it, definitely right Wolf just need to find out which one! it's a silver hex tank , no heater but we are gonna buy one to put in there!

ok fish r fun is the UK trade name for AA aquariums which is a trademark for Sealand Industrial Co., Ltd (A Chinese company).
their English website is http://www.aa-aquarium.com/indexb.htm
every page you click will ask you to install Chinese script, just click cancel (very annoying)
and you will see the page in English :good:

you should find your particular hex tank on that site.
